About

Hi there! I'm Joseph, full-time student, part-time instructor, and night-time coder.
I program during the day too! ( but I that was some good use of parallelism :) ).

Ever since I was introduced to programming at a young age, I fell in love with it. Initially, I started off creating graphics, then animations, then games, and now web applications. I enjoy the challenge of solving difficult problems, but more importantly, I like finding how to use technology to help people. I'm always learning new things (especially reading Medium articles that pop-up in my email) and sharing what I know so far through my work as an instructor.

I have experience programming on all levels of the web-development stack. I have created the Chicago Public Schools Sports Digital Badge System, developed core pieces of an Asset Management Platform for large construction companies, and have taught dozens of classes of K-12 students how to code.
